Lazy People

I have never been lazy.  Maybe I should phrase that different, I have never been lacking in drive.  I have always wanted more.  I hate standing still.  Life is about moving.  I don't understand people that lack drive and ambition.  To me, they are just plain lazy.
One example: A worker who has no motivation to advance.  I understand we need all types to make our world run smoothly.  But I could not imagine doing the same thing every day with no desire to grown and change. 
I could not live my life stagnant.  I could not do the same monotonous job for 5, 10, or even 20 years.  This is the reason I will probably always be in Property Management.  The job description and roles are the same, but the people and communities makes every day a little different. 
Second example: A parent who doesn't push their children. I don't understand how you could not push your children to do better or want more. Children might not want to go down the road you want them to. But your job as a parent is to make sure they are ready to go down what ever road they choose. 
I could not just let my children blow around like a leaf in what ever direction the wind is blowing.  I want my children to have more, to be more, to be strong and independent.  I want them to see their Mom as a driven woman who wants the best for them.  I want them to know and see that I will always want more for them.  I want them to know there is good in working hard, reaching goals, and having dreams. 
I am fortunate to not have to deal with these types of people much.  But unfortunately people I love do so I get to hear about it.  I would lose my mind.
